A private household based in St John’s Wood are seeking an experienced and reliable temporary housekeeper / cook to support the smooth running of their home over a short-term period in July. This is a great opportunity for someone organised, efficient and confident managing both housekeeping and cooking duties.
The ideal candidate will be a capable cook, able to prepare fresh, home-style meals, while also maintaining a clean and well-presented home. Someone proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently will be well suited to this role. The household is pet friendly, so a candidate happy around animals is essential. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- planning and preparing fresh, nutritious meals
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- ensuring the household runs smoothly on a daily basis
