A welcoming family based in St Albans are seeking a live in nanny housekeeper to support the care of their youngest child and the smooth running of their home. The family have three children aged 4, 14 and 15, with the two older children attending boarding school, so the role will be primarily focused on the 4 year old. The family also have a friendly Labrador who requires daily walks. The position offers very private and spacious accommodation on the top floor of the house with a bedroom and bathroom. The home is ideally located just a 5 minute walk from the station and the child’s school, with direct trains to central London in around 15–17 minutes.
Duties include:
- getting the child ready in the morning, preparing breakfast and walking to school
- full housekeeping including cleaning, laundry and ironing
- keeping the home tidy and organised during school hours
- preparing an evening meal for the child
- supporting the child’s evening routine and bedtime
- walking the family dog
