A private household based in Halstead is seeking an experienced and reliable live in housekeeper couple to support the smooth running of a large country home. The role is suited to a couple where one partner focuses on housekeeping duties, while the other works as a handyman and assistant gardener.
This is a long-term role for a proactive, flexible, and trustworthy couple who are happy working together in a private household environment. Accommodation is a a four-bedroom bungalow provided, located a short walk from the main house.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the home
- laundry and ironing including care of fine fabrics
- assisting with basic meal preparation when required
- general home organisation and stock management
- property maintenance and basic repairs
- gardening support and outdoor upkeep
- assisting with household errands and general support as needed
