A compassionate and experienced live-in full time carer is required to support an elderly client in Appleton, Cheshire. This is a full-time role, working 5 days a week on a 24-hour basis, providing round-the-clock assistance and companionship.
The ideal candidate must be warm, patient, and respectful, with previous experience caring for elderly clients and supporting them to live comfortably and independently at home.
Duties include:
- assisting with daily personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- supporting mobility around the home and during occasional outings
- administering or prompting medication
- preparing nutritious meals and snacks
- light housekeeping including tidying, laundry, and cleaning shared spaces
- providing companionship and emotional support
- monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns
