A welcoming household in Maiden Newton, Dorchester, is looking for a dependable and experienced Part-Time Housekeeper to ensure their home remains clean, organised, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, taking pride in keeping the home running smoothly. The role requires someone who is trustworthy, thorough, and capable of managing household tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Duties would include:
- daily upkeep and general tidying of all rooms
- changing bed linens and ensuring bedrooms are neat and organised
- cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and kitchen areas
- dusting furniture and surfaces to maintain a fresh and tidy environment
- vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors throughout the home
- handling laundry, ironing, and folding clothes
- managing household waste and recycling appropriately
- occasional deep cleaning tasks as needed
