A family based in Lambeth, London, is seeking a dependable and meticulous part-time housekeeper to assist in keeping their home tidy and well-maintained. The role involves regular cleaning, organising, and ensuring the household remains inviting and comfortable.
The family owns a cat, making this position ideal for a pet-friendly individual who enjoys being around animals. They also travel frequently, usually for one week every 4-8 weeks, so some flexibility during these periods would be a bonus.
Duties include:
- feeding their cat when they are away
- washing the dishes
- loading the dishwasher
- hoovering, mopping and sweeping floors
- maintaining all bedrooms
- maintaining wardrobe / closet space
- laundry and ironing (clothes and beddings)
- folding freshly ironed clothes
- ensuring the kitchen and bathroom areas are kept tidy
- dusting furniture
- polishing silverwares
- cleaning up the utensils after cooking
- buying grocery items for the family
